Sardonic, Gritty, Darkly Humorous

Hailing from the Texas Hill Country, I cut my teeth on stage as a pre-teen performing Shakespeare in the heat of summer. I honed my skills through training in Viewpoints, Suzuki, Improv, and Meisner at an AEA college program in Austin. I’ve travelled the world, broadening my horizons as a humanitarian in Peru and The Ivory Coast. I’m dedicated to creating unique, grounded, and often surreal stories that explore the depths of human depravity and the heights of human compassion.

My short script, Emerald Cove, a dark sci-fi drama, was a finalist in the Jameson First Shot Competition 2014, and was selected by Uma Thurman as one of 7 scripts to advance that year.

My first feature as a writer/director/actor, A Room Full of Nothing, premiered at Austin Film Festival 2019, and was the recipient of the “Oh Sh!t” grant from Mark and Jay Duplass.

My television debut came in 2017 in National Geographic’s The Long Road Home – I took on the role of a despondent and dispirited Army enlistee opposite House of Cards’ Michael Kelly.

My film debut was in 2005 for IFC Films’ I‘ll Come Running – a SAG role as an aimless, deadbeat waiter.
